Hantz Topology Discovery  

Visualize your network connectivity with Hantz Topology Discovery. Topology Discovery module of Hantz provides logical and physical mapping of your entire IT components within your IT infrastructure. Based on certain basic parameters, Topology Discovery module enables you to automatically discover IP Networks and their segments, LANs, hosts, switches, routers, frame relay and PVC circuits. This module uses protocols, such as SNMP, CDP, and NDP to find out the connection details. In addition, it uses Spanning Tree protocol and standard MIBs, such as Bridge MIBs to get the relevant information.

The close integration of Topology discovery with Mapview provides geographical view of diverse heterogeneous network elements and drill- down options to the users. The Topology-dependent Event Correlation Algorithm enables event correlation of the alarms based on the auto-discovered and manually configured network topology dependency relationships.
