Hantz CORBA API

Hantz products are designed to handle CORBA-based user request. A CORBA module is a namespace that acts as a container for related interfaces and declarations. The system is designed to provide CORBA Northbound Interface for integration of EMS with other OSS Products. Hantz CORBA module uses omniORBpy as its CORBA interface. omniORB is an Object Request Broker (ORB) that implements the 2.6 specification of the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA).

To facilitate the communication of the CORBA Interface by the Hantz system, a standard IDL has been developed to interface with the devices and automatically communicate with them. By using the standard IDL, the special CORBA modules can be developed independently from the core Hantz system software.

An OMG IDL(Interface Definition Language) is a purely declarative language designed for specifying programming-language-independent operational interfaces for distributed applications. You can use the sample IDL files available in Hantz system for Getting Alarms/Events/Performance Informations.
